Monarch butterflies.

Kia ora every one, today two monarch butterflies came out of their cocoons. Is's starting to get chilly so they must be cold. My dad put them in the sun today so they could dry their wings out. They are beautiful butterflies and I hope they are healthy and happy😊

  1. Kia ora Luna,

How lucky are you to have monarch butterflies still appearing in your garden. I would have thought they would be all done by now. Your Dad sounds like a kind man to move them into the sun. I wonder what kind of adventure they will have as they begin to explore the world with their wings. Maybe you could write a story from their perspective.

    Thanks for sharing,
